STEM Challenge Cards – KS2

Each activity card includes detailed STEM learning objectives linked directly to the curriculum, a list of required materials, step by step instructions and illustrations and a detailed explanation of the Science or Engineering principles behind the project.
Time-saving notes for the teacher are included, which detail recommended group size, where materials can be sourced from, suggestions for risk assessments and the identification of any potential hazards. Most of the required equipment can be easily found in school.
Ten challenges in total, ranging from designing a marble run or lolly stick bridge to creating a battery powered fan or torch.
